Modra Spilja - Blue cave

A visit to Modra Špilja, also known as the Blue Cave, is sure to remain in your memory for a long time. By boat it takes about 2 hours to get to Modra Špilja. However, as the journey there leads through untouched nature and the sun is reflected in the crystal clear water, the time of the crossing flies by. When we arrived there, we had a delicious lunch at the beach bar in Beševo near the Blue Cave. After the great lunch we made our way to the Modra Špilja.

We were very lucky because we had the Blue Lagoon all to ourselves. We swam into the cave and were immediately fascinated by the blue colour reflected on the walls. The sunlight reflects the seabed and bathes the entire cave in breathtaking blue light. The water glitters in silvery glow. The day came to a perfect end
when we could watch the sunset on our way home
