Heiden, the Biedermeier village

The Biedermeier village of Heiden lies on a sunny terrace high above Lake Constance, nestled in the hilly landscape of the Appenzeller Vorderland. It is an excellent starting point for hikes and offers various sights. Henry Dunant, the founder of the Red Cross, also appreciated the tranquillity and the landscape of the village with its 4000 inhabitants. At the end of the hike, let yourself be surprised by a little "Probiererli".
