Stoneman Miriquidi Hike - a new experience for hikers and trail runners
An exciting new project will be presented for the first time as part of the Eurorando 2026 tourism festival (September 20-27, 2026): the Stoneman Miriquidi Hike. The tried-and-tested Stoneman concept will be applied to hiking and trail running for the first time.
The cross-border route between Klínovec (Keilberg) and Fichtelberg combines a sporting challenge with an intense experience of nature. Participants can choose between different performance levels (bronze, silver or gold) - similar to the well-known bike format - and customize their personal challenge.
The Stoneman Miriquidi Hike is not only aimed at experienced trail runners, but also at ambitious hikers who are looking for more than classic daily stages. In addition, an optional route extension for ultra runners is being planned, which will further expand the offer in the future.
The project is currently in the preparation phase. The official presentation will take place in the run-up to Eurorando 2026, where the Stoneman Miriquidi Hike will be presented to the general public for the first time.
