Solstice on the wine plain

A medieval custom, which also has a long tradition here, are the mountain fires, which are lit at the solstice around June 21. Numerous clubs and groups set out every year to light their bonfires on this evening to celebrate the longest day of the year.

Seen from the mountain tops, the sight is overwhelming and shows another facet of our Koralm.
