Blue Lagoon Solta

On a particularly hot day in August we planned a trip by boat. The ladies at the reception told us about the neighbouring island Šolta. We enjoyed the trip by boat to Šolta and then drove a bit further to the Blue Lagoon on the island of Drvenik. It immediately reminded us of a tropical oasis. Veli i Mali Krknjaš was formed by two islands and is the perfect place to completely relax for a day.

The crystal clear water is so pure that you can observe the small fish with the naked eye - you can easily see down to the seabed. We love the sea and therefore the Blue Lagoon was the ideal place for us to dive, swim and relax. To round off the day perfectly, we had lunch on the southern side of Šolta in a small
, typical Dalmatian restaurant right by the sea. We enjoyed a wonderful, freshly caught fish. On the way back we admired the passing lavender fields and olive groves. The perfect conclusion to a breathtaking day.
