The neighboring Maurerkogel is the destination of this guided hike. You start at the mountain station of the trassXpress and walk across gentle alpine pastures and through picturesque forests to the gentle summit of the Maurerkogel at 2,074 m. A boundless view of the surrounding mountains rewards the summiteers before returning to the Schmittenhöhe.

We ask you not to bring dogs on the hike due to the contact with grazing animals.

Participation is free of charge with a valid cable car ticket!

Registration required by 12:00 noon the day before!Starting from the trassXpress mountain station, the hike takes you step by step up to the 2,074 m high neighboring summit of the Schmittenhöhe, the Maurerkogel. The reward for the strenuous ascent is not long in coming.

After an approx. 1.5-hour hike, you will be rewarded at the summit with a boundless view

over the most famous mountain massifs in Pinzgau.
