Evening ride on the Uga Express with bonfire

On August 7th, the Damüls mountain rescue team invites you to the traditional bonfire on the Damüls Mittagsspitze. At nightfall, around 21:00, the large pile of wood on the summit is lit, creating an impressive spectacle of light in the middle of the mountains.

A special highlight is the torchlight procession, which starts at around 21:40. The Berggasthof Elsenalpstube offers the perfect view to enjoy the bonfire in a cozy atmosphere.

The Uga-Express operates on this evening from 18:30 to 23:00. Guests with the Bregenzerwald & Großes Walsertal Guest Card can use the train free of charge.

Please note that the ascent to the Mittagsspitze is challenging and requires appropriate equipment and surefootedness. The bonfire only takes place in good weather conditions.
