For beginners with little mountain experience.
In the climbing garden, there is an introduction to equipment, kicking and belaying techniques. On our practice via ferrata, which we have set up in the rock in the climbing garden, we gain initial safety with the equipment. We then take the Kanzelwand cable car up at lunchtime and head into alpine terrain. We climb the Walser via ferrata to the summit. An exciting experience for beginners. The via ferrata course is suitable for children aged 8 and over.
When: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 09.05.2026 to 08.11.2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. Climbing garden - 500m before the Ifen valley station on the right, parking available
Duration: approx. 5 hours

Bring your own equipment & fitness: ankle-high hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, sure-footedness and fitness for hikes of 5 to 6 hrs, sufficient drinks;
Important information: Ascents and descents up to 600 vertical meters, walking times between 4 and 6 hours, depending on the weather, trail conditions and the fitness of the group.
Min/max. participants: 4 - 7 people
