Sledding Fun on the Bürgeralpe

The 2.5-km-long natural toboggan run (Run No. 7) guarantees winter fun on two runners for young and old alike. The toboggan run begins at the exit of the 8-person gondola, and the route then winds its way back to the valley station. A leisurely descent takes about 10 minutes.

Children are only permitted to use the toboggan run unsupervised if they can safely steer the toboggan themselves and bring it to a stop at any time. Dogs are not allowed on the toboggan run. Steerable bobsleds are permitted, but the use of inflatable, non-steerable sleds is prohibited.

Sled Rental: Sleds can be rented directly at the lift ticket office or brought from home.

The toboggan run is open during the operating hours of the “Bürgeralpe Express” cable car, provided there is sufficient snow—see opening hours and trail information.
