Guided tour through the chestnut grove

From the village center of Tschars, the trail first leads along the road through idyllic apple orchards up to the Waalweg trail (approx. 30 minutes). Above the Waalweg, you will reach a picturesque chestnut grove, where you can learn exciting facts about chestnuts, their cultivation and harvesting. Some of the chestnut trees are several hundred years old.

The enjoyable conclusion is a chestnut roast together directly at the farmer. Over a glass of good wine, you will receive interesting insights and first-hand stories.
