The sundowner picnic at the Rosshütte makes a cozy summer evening in the mountains a real superlative: For € 50.00 per person, not only are the ascent and descent with the Rosshütte cable car, a large picnic blanket and a picnic bag filled with regional delicacies included, but also one of the most spectacular sunsets in the region.

This exclusive experience high above Seefeld takes place every Wednesday in the summer months of July & August with a maximum of 100 participants - so it's worth booking in good time!

The funicular and gondola take you up to the Seefelder Joch at 2,064 meters between 17:30 (July), 17:00 (August) and 20:00. There you can put together your perfect picnic from a large selection of delicacies, including an (alcoholic) drink, and you can borrow a cozy picnic blanket. There is a 20 euro deposit for the picnic blanket, which you will get back from the cable car staff at the top station when you return the blanket after the picnic.

This should go without saying anyway: Please take your garbage back to the cable cars and leave nothing behind on the mountain - for the sake of nature! This also applies in particular to cigarette butts. You can get a mobile ashtray on request at the picnic counter at Seefelder Joch. Thank you!

Around the mountain station there are many places with great views from which you can watch the sun slowly set behind the Hohe Munde. Afterwards, take the cable car back down to the valley.
