The route winds through the Palatinate Forest on varied trails to Neudahn Castle. The medieval castle ruins stand impressively atop a red sandstone cliff, offering beautiful views of the Dahner Felsenland landscape both along the way and around the castle.
This approximately 12-kilometer tour combines nature exploration with regional history: As you walk along shady forest trails, past distinctive rock formations, and up to Neudahn Castle, you’ll experience the Palatinate Forest in its most unspoiled form.
You’ll be accompanied by our hiking guide, who will share interesting facts about the landscape and the region’s history along the way.
