Murau Handicraft Museum

The Murau Craft Museum has been located in the former Capuchin monastery of the district capital Murau since 1975 and tells of the history of the craft chambers of that time. In addition to the partial redesign of the permanent exhibition in 2016, special exhibitions are designed. Knowledge, expertise and techniques are passed on to museum visitors of all ages in the form of lectures, workshops, exhibitions and storytelling coffees.
