Details

Take a look behind the scenes at the ski resort’s technical systems with snowmaking pioneer Georg Eisath.

Forty years ago, he built South Tyrol’s first snow cannons; today, Georg Eisath takes us on a guided ski tour to offer a behind-the-scenes look at the core snowmaking and slope grooming technology at the Carezza Dolomites ski resort. An exclusive opportunity to experience the technical infrastructure of Carezza Dolomites firsthand. The tour departs from the Moseralm and heads to the pumping station for the reservoirs, where you’ll learn more about energy-efficient snowmaking and innovative slope grooming. On the subsequent sections of the slopes, Georg Eisath will provide further insights into current projects focused on increasing efficiency, digitalization, and the sustainable use of resources within the mountain railway company.

The tour concludes at 4:00 p.m. at the Hotel Moseralm. Everyone will make it back to their starting point in time using the lifts and their skis.

Note on participation:

The tour focuses heavily on technical operations, energy systems, and infrastructure processes within the ski resort. Due to the depth of the content, this experience is particularly suitable for technically interested teens and adults. The tour may be less suitable for younger children.
