The tour starts from the Salzbach parking lot in the picturesque Gaistal valley and leads uphill through shady forest until you reach the Wettersteinhütte hut above the tree line. Not far away is the Wangalm, where you can leave your bikes. Both huts invite you to take a refreshing break. From here, continue on foot past the Erinnerungshüttl and picturesque Puittal until you reach the summit of the Gehrenspitze and are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Leutasch Valley.
