Legendary incense hike

Between the winter solstice and the Epiphany, a fine smoke of juniper, spruce and mugwort settles over wintry Döbriach. While lanterns shimmer, alphorn sounds resound and fine melodies are sung, mystical Raunacht figures appear from the Sagamundo - House of Storytelling and tell of enchanted legendary figures and winter customs.

The winter hike is accompanied by incense expert Katharina Schmidt - with words that seem like little New Year's messages.

The 75-minute winter hike makes the centuries-old custom of burning incense tangible and fragrant.
