Growing up in the Villnöss Valley, Reinhold Messner learned to climb in the Geisler Group with the energy of a child's urge to move, driven by curiosity and a thirst for adventure. Born in Villnöss, Reinhold has used his extreme experience of the mountains and their culture to create meeting places with the mountain, with mountain people and ultimately with himself as a visitor at six unusual locations.
