Tour description:

The "Gletscherschaupfad Innergschlöß" is located in the most beautiful valley head in the Eastern Alps - the Innergschlöss.

From here, you can enjoy a view of the imposing glacier world around the Großvenediger. This mighty iceberg watches over the wild and romantic Gschlösstal valley in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Gigantic glacial forces once shaped this landscape and they are still at work here in the Hohe Tauern. Hikers gain an insight into the impressive world of the glacier foreland and its pioneer vegetation.
