Forest jewel bell

The nature trail is located in the protected Glocke landscape, an island of botanical and geological rarities in Finkenberg. There are only three such relics from the post-glacial period in the entire Eastern Alps - one of them here! Particularly impressive are the up to 70 m deep Tuxbach gorge, the beautiful beech forest and the legendary Devil's Bridge, a wooden structure dating back to 1876. Let us tell you about the habitat of this special forest, its historical use, the unique flora and special geology of the Glocke. Mysticism, numerous secrets and interesting stories await you on this exciting circular hike.

Character: easy hike in Finkenberg with 120 m difference in altitude

Duration: approx. 4 hours; 1.5 hours of pure walking time
