Snowshoe hike Jochstadl

Tour description:

Car ride to Schattwald, ascent with snowshoes to Jochstadl, stop for refreshments, descent to the valley.

Requirements:

You need to be in good shape to enjoy the tour. Hiking in the snow is more strenuous than in summer. As a guideline, 100 meters of altitude in winter is about as strenuous as 150 meters of altitude in summer.

Equipment for the snowshoe tour:

Ankle-high hiking boots, winter hiking clothes, hat or headband, gloves, gaiters if necessary, backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, water.

Rental equipment:

Snowshoes and poles are available from us.
