Sunrise hike Unnütz

A mountain hike at sunrise is a special experience. At the latest when you feel the first rays of sunshine on your skin, it is clear that it was worth getting up.

Early in the morning, we take the hotel bus to the Köglalm at 1,431 m above sea level. From there, we hike along the red mountain trail (hiking trail) for approx. 2 hours towards the summit. Our destination, the Vorderunnütz, lies at 2,078 m above sea level. We hike through sparse mountain forest, then through mountain pines and then over increasingly open and rocky terrain. The hike is categorized as moderately difficult and is challenging. Surefootedness is required.

Bring along: mountain/hiking boots (no sneakers), water bottle, warm clothing as it is still chilly in the early morning (especially something to put on at the summit), packed lunch (provided by the hotel if you register by 18:00 the day before).
