In the hammer mill, which is known far beyond the region, tools were manufactured in addition to forged cowbells and ground in the associated grinding shop. Already in 1936 this unique forge was put under monument protection. The last master hammer and gun smith, Fritz Grübl, died in 1960 and the property has been in the family for many generations.
