Hike of the Swabian Albverein - local group Markdorf

The hike on Markdorf's local mountain starts immediately uphill in the direction of the book box at the "Lesebänkle", crossing the HW 7 of the Swabian Albverein as well as the Jakobusweg. It goes into the forest along the "LandGänge", past the GehroTrail and the forest nursery Leimbach direction 5-Länder-Blick. Still a small piece upward it goes again on half height of the Gehrenberg back in the direction of P Vogelsang. Via the historic waterworks we reach Markdorf again via Bruggergasse, through the city park we meet the Way of the Cross and the Möggenweiler Chapel. The last meters we then walk the Jakobusweg back to our starting point.

The hiking route is about 8 km, the altitude difference about 250 hm.

Start from parking lot Steibensteg / and then parking lot Traube.

Registration is not necessary,

the hike is free of charge.

Please remember to wear sturdy shoes.

After the return a small drink is prepared in the Hofcafé.

In case of heavy rain, storm and thunderstorm the hike will not take place.
