Suspension bridge Grub

Description

Since April 2019, the two villages of Grub AR and Grub SG have been reconnected by an attractive, 180-meter-long suspension bridge over the Mattenbach.

A very popular hiking trail across the cantonal border from Frauenrüti Grub AR to the Grünau Grub SG area is thus once again continuously accessible.

The bridge is only for those who are free from giddiness. The highest point of the bridge is about 40 meters above the gorge.

From Hotel Heiden you can reach the bridge on foot in about 15 minutes.
