From the bush to the glass – with a pinch of mystery and lots of autumn love!
The best thing about fall? Nature blesses us with delicious fruits that are just waiting to be harvested and transformed into something truly special! And what could be better than preserving autumn’s treasures to enjoy them later with your loved ones during the cold season?
Farmer Oke has a very special idea for you: his legendary Probsteier Schlehenfang! But before this delicious liqueur can be poured into a glass, there’s a bit of preparation involved. After all, a good “Schlehenfang” requires not only Oke’s secret recipe but also the right preparation.
We’ll kick things off on Monday with some cozy stick bread baking!
In a friendly gathering, Farmer Oke will explain what’s important and what you need to do in advance so that on Thursday you can roll up your sleeves and whip up your very own Schlehenfang.
And what’s the result?
One batch yields about 1 liter of homemade blackthorn liqueur—with plenty of autumnal aroma, a good dose of anticipation, and a story you can pass on with every sip.
