More than 113 kilometers of cross-country trails in the Zillertal are designed to tempt you to glide through the snow. Whether for beginners or advanced skiers, the choice of difficulty levels seems like a cheerful invitation: let the search for tracks begin!
From Strass to Hintertux , there are many beautiful routes depending on the level of difficulty.
Auenloipe Tux -Vorderlanersbach (easy)
The trail takes you to below the Tux-Finkenberg tourist office and then back to Tux-Vorderlanersbach. Enjoy the 2.5 km groomed classic trail right next to the Tuxbach. The Auenloipe is also suitable for all cross-country skating enthusiasts.
Burgschrofen marathon trail (medium difficulty)
The trail leads slightly downhill from the start towards the Mühlbach district. After a steeper, approx. 200 m long ascent, there is a pleasant descent. The trail then climbs slightly again towards Mayrhofen. After approx. 3.3 km you reach the "Ski-Cross" section, which can also be run around. If you still have enough energy, you can take on the "Camel Hump" section. A beautiful loop, especially for runners who enjoy long training sessions. Partly floodlit until 10 pm!
Laimach cross-country ski trail
