Description
"Silent Night - Holy Night" in Mayrhofen in the Zillertal
Artisans at Advent invite you to linger, look and buy. Zillertal handicrafts such as handmade doggles, nativity scenes and gift ideas made from natural materials are presented.
Local choirs, Klöpfelsingers, brass ensembles and communal carol singing spread a festive atmosphere on the Waldfestplatz. A visit to the Mayrhofen Advent at the Waldfestplatz is also a special experience for all children. A visit from St. Nicholas, the bakery, the petting zoo and much more will make children's eyes light up.
From Mayrhofen's main street, a 300-metre walk leads through the romantic Scheulingwald forest to the Waldfestplatz.
This is surrounded by rustic, open and fully accessible log cabins and a concert stage. Special lighting turns this charming spot in the forest into a cozy, almost mystical place. The cabins are set up so that visitors can sit at comfortable furniture and tables, snuggle up in blankets, enjoy culinary delights at the table, listen to music, experience plays and find time for themselves and their families.
