Ponymiete

Our ponies are led along Lake Achensee by their parents on a lead. Leading is usually not a big problem. Parents and children need sturdy shoes. You will be given a rope to lead the pony. Grasp the rope relatively close to the pony's head (do not wrap it around your hand!) and stand next to the pony and simply start walking with determination - the pony will follow you. Adjust your speed to the pony and stay on the path, then there will be no problem. Important: Don't let the pony eat at the side of the path. Most ponies are very greedy. Once the ponies have started to fill their bellies, they are difficult to persuade to continue walking. Therefore: Don't let them eat at all and hold the rope tightly. If necessary, pull the pony away from the food. If you feel unsure, our riding instructors will be happy to accompany you on the guided pony ride. We assume no liability
