Details

Today's demanding hiking tour takes us to a beautiful mountain with incredible panoramic views: The Rotlahner. We start from St. Magdalena, at end of the valley, and hike up to the Köfler Hut and then continue along a small trail to the Kasermähder Hut. From there we climb to the Heimwaldjöchl. Not much further now… over increasingly steep terrain we reach the summit of the Rotlahner. From here, at 2,748m, in the heart of the Gsieser and Villgrater mountains, we can enjoy magnificent panoramas. After a rest at the summit, we make our way back to Hotel Quelle via the same path. Walking time: approx. 6 hours approx. 1300 metres altitude difference Difficulty: demanding mountain tour GOOD BALANCE & A HEAD FOR HEIGHTS REQUIRED! Refreshments: Stumpf Hut You will receive more information about backpack provisions during breakfast! Please do not forget to bring drinks! © Picture: TV Gsieser Tal_Kamilla Photography
