On the Latemar High Trail

Together with hiking guide Ferdinand Pardeller, we’ll take a comfortable bus ride from Welschnofen to Obereggen. The hike takes us through varied alpine landscapes, past dense forests, and on to the Latemar high-altitude trail. Below the imposing Latemar, we take short breaks to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views. The trail offers magnificent views of the Brenta Dolomites and the Ortler region. At a viewing platform with a 360° panoramic view, we can take in the scenery at our leisure before ascending to the Oberholz mountain hut, where we’ll have time for a lunch break. The trail then leads back to Obereggen, from where we take the bus back to Welschnofen. Alternatively, those who wish can take the Oberholz lift down to the valley.

- 180 or 184 from Lake Carezza, Carezza Pass

- 184 from Weissenstein, Petersberg, Deutschnofen, Stenk (or: 181 and transfer to 180)

- 187 from Steinegg, Gummer (or: 182 and transfer to 180)
