The undisputed highlight of Peter Habeler's career was probably the first ascent of Mount Everest without artificial oxygen in 1978, together with Reinhold Messner. On this tour, you can now conquer your own inner hog and create your own personal Everest! Our tour leads from the mountain station of the Ahornbahn (2,000 m) to the Karl-von-Edelhütte (2,238 m). From there, it goes over grassy soils and scree slopes up to the rocky steep climb of the Westgrad, which leads to the Ahornspitze (2,976 m), which towers more than 2,300 m above Mayrhofen! From the summit we can now enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, before afterwards a refreshment at the Edelhütte beckons.
