Description
The winter hike to Lercher Alm starts at the lower parking area between Oberwielenbach and Platten. Right from the parking lot, a well-maintained forest path branches off towards Lercher Alm and leads through the wild and romantic, snow-covered Wielental Valley with a gentle but steady ascent. Throughout the hike, we are accompanied by the cheerful sound of the Wielenbach stream, which in some places disappears beneath a sparkling blanket of snow and ice, giving the walk a particularly idyllic atmosphere. After about 45 minutes, we reach the family-friendly Lercher Alm, where we are spoiled with homemade specialties and regional delicacies. Departure with the hotel bus (limited seats, individual arrival possible).
Total walking time: approx. 3 hours, elevation gain: approx. 400 m.
