The round bridge

The Rienz Gorge with the Rundl Bridge, a wild and romantic natural wonder, can be crossed from Natz-Schabs on two bridges: the Rienz Bridge in Natz and the Rundl Bridge in Schabs. The Rundlbrücke bridge in particular offers a fascinating view of the disused Rundl power plant dating back to 1903. The castle-like architecture of the power plant bears witness to the great importance attributed to the new energy source at the beginning of the 20th century. Even if the power plant itself cannot be visited, the surrounding area invites you on a journey of discovery that impressively combines the history and natural beauty of the region.
