Description
The last skiers leave the Riedberg Pass. We get to know each other and receive snowshoes, poles, a headlamp and the avalanche safety equipment. After fitting the snowshoes, there are still the most important tips for snowshoeing and we're off. We hike in the direction of the Riedberger-Horn and reach the Berghaus Schwaben via a small mountain pass. Here we are already expected by Matthias and his team, who have made Kässpatzen for us.
Night has fallen on the mountains and the moon has risen. The light becomes mystical, the snowy slopes are bathed in steel-blue light and the shadows of the spruce trees stand out against it in deep black.
In a very special atmosphere we hike in 1 1/2 to 2 hours back to the starting point.
Duration of the whole tour: 5 - 6 hours
