Helpful facts

You start before dawn, enjoy the tranquillity of the mountains and let yourself be enchanted by the spectral colors and the first rays of sunshine. Sunrise in the mountains is a very special spectacle every time.

The first rays of sunshine reward the ascent (approx. 1.5 h) and the well-deserved Carinthian delicacy at the summit tastes even better.

Arrival with your own car,

Meeting point:

Meeting point: Hiking sculpture/info board at the parking lot on the Emberger Alm, 9761 Greifenburg

Start: 1 hour 45 minutes before sunrise (exact time will be announced after registration)

Walking time: approx. 3-3.5 hours there and back, pure walking time approx. 2.5 hours

Equipment:

Mountain boots, jacket, gloves, hat or headband,

rainwear - drink

Travel time:

approx. 45 minutes
