Description
The ear candle originates from the shamans and is a hollow candle that can be used for ear cleansing. They are 20 - 30 cm long and consist of beeswax, essential oils, gauze, powdered plant parts and cotton.
Ear candles are used for relaxation, to equalize pressure in the ear, forehead and sinus area, to remove earwax and for tinnitus.
An ear candle can also help with a cold or ear pressure, as well as mild earache. In the ear canal, the ear candle acts on the zones of the lymphatic pharyngeal ring. This promotes blood circulation, lymphatic drainage and the immune system, thus helping against colds or ear pressure.
