Description
In addition to the now-traditional livestock show, this year’s Alpine Fair will once again feature the selection of the best “Sura-Kees” on the church square, followed by an awards ceremony.
At over 50 market stalls, local shopkeepers and farmers from all over Vorarlberg will be offering their products for sale.
Food and drinks will be available, and live music will set the mood.
2026 Program:
9 a.m.–4 p.m. General market activity on the Schruns church square
Presentation of the Sura Kees alpine pastures with product sales
Refreshments provided by the Montafon Rural Youth
9 a.m.–11 a.m.: Cheese judging by the expert jury
10 a.m.–12 p.m.: Livestock show at the Sternenparkplatz, Tschagguns Livestock Breeders’ Association
11 a.m.–4 p.m.: Live music by “Muvukanten”
12:00–3:00 p.m. Horse-drawn carriage rides
Starting at 1:30 p.m. Award ceremony for the Sura Kees competition
Followed by the livestock show award ceremony
