This year, the Tour of Austria will once again be a guest in St. Johann in Salzburg and will lead through the Pongau and neighboring Tennengau on the 2nd stage with 142 km and 1,676 vertical meters.
The second stage starts on 10.07.2025 at 12.15 pm in Bischofshofen and first leads through the Fritztal to St. Martin am Tennengebirge. From there, the route continues via Annaberg-Lungötz and Abtenau to Golling. The route then heads back to Bischofshofen via Pass Lueg and Werfen, where there is a sprint finish in the town center/meeting zone.
The route then leads to St. Johann im Pongau and on to Wagrain and Altenmarkt. The route returns to Bischofshofen via Eben and the Fritztal valley with Pöham. After another passage through the encounter zone, the final section follows to St. Johann, where the finish in Alpendorf is located (planned finish: 15:00/15:30).
