Hike "Über'n Jägersteig ins Reich des Grafen" *

Discover the hidden sides of the Gerlitzen Alpe. The first stop is the weather cross and continue to the power place "BERGREICH" located east of the summit. Now it gets exciting, because we descend north, down on barely visible hunter's tracks, right through alpine bush, blueberries and juniper to the reservoir. From there we continue north, into a dreamy mountain forest always descending cross-country and keeping slightly to the left, until we reach a forest road overgrown with grasses. This would lead southeast to the path of the philosophers and north to the Neugarten Almseehütte. But we cross this path in an easterly direction and continue to descend on mossy meadow bottoms. With a view of a hunter's high, we reach another forest road that takes us uphill in a southeasterly direction to a fork in the trail. Continue uphill until you reach the path of the philosophers.
