Description
We’ll hike along a particularly scenic section of the Merano High Mountain Trail from Katharinaberg in the Schnalstal Valley to the historic mountain farms on the Naturns Sonnenberg. We park at the valley station of the Unterstell cable car and take public transportation to Katharinaberg, where our hike begins. The trail leads us across meadows and through forests, past rustic farmsteads and small waterfalls. Along the way, we’ll enjoy magnificent views of the Schnalstal Valley, the Vinschgau Valley, and Juval Castle. From Unterstell, we’ll take the cable car back down to the valley in comfort.
