Hike to the Montani castle ruins

We start on foot from the hotel and first walk through the village towards the IceForum Latsch. Here begins our hiking trail to the impressive ruins of the castles Obermontani and Untermontani and the chapel St. Stephan. Coming from the top, we not only enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding mountains on this circuit, but also admire witnesses of Romanesque and Gothic architecture. From the library of Obermontani comes one of the oldest copies of the Song of the Nibelungs (1323), which is now in the State Archives of Berlin-Dahlem. Through the apple orchards we finally head back towards the hotel.
