Description
Not far from the woodlark is the beautiful hiking trail to the "Romantische Sängershöh". Here hikers discover magnificent deciduous and coniferous forests and hills. You walk along our forest path, which is located at the house, and which soon changes into the idyllic valley landscape of the Ilmenau. Up and down the slope you walk on paths and trails, through the forest, with a view of the Ilmenau floodplain and the fairytale pond "Nixengrund". From the steep bank of the "Sängershöh" you have a wonderful view of the Ilmenau flowing deep below.
Idyllically, you pass meadows and bridges to Medingen Monastery and the old Medingen Mill.
