Eisriesenwelt Werfen

The Eisriesenwelt is one of the largest ice caves in the world at around 30,000 m2. You will discover the mightiest ice figures on earth in the halls and your efforts in visiting the unique cave system will be richly rewarded. Temperature around -1°C, warm clothing and sturdy shoes are required! You should allow around 3-4 hours for the visit.

Tip: Due to the large number of visitors (especially on bad weather days), we recommend that you visit the Ice Giant World early in the morning, as you may have to expect longer waiting times during the day.
