Description
The glaciers in the Hohe Tauern National Park are a fascinating phenomenon full of mysteries.
On this day hike along the Innergschlöss Glacier Trail, the glaciated peaks reveal themselves in all their glory, and as you pass Lake Salzboden, the cotton grass-covered “Eye of God,” and the imposing glacial striations of the Schlatenkees, your eyes will sparkle.
What you’ll take away from this impressive hike are magnificent views, exciting stories from the national park rangers, and the certainty that you’ll be able to explore the glaciers on your next mountain hike with a wealth of new knowledge.
You’ll need:
