Traualpsee - Traualpe
In addition to the Vilsalpsee, there is another beautiful natural lake in the Vilsalpsee nature reserve, the Traualpsee.
Walking around the Traualpsee is a unique experience. You will discover a magnificent variety of alpine plants and interesting wildlife. But who dares to enter the Traualpsee? It goes without saying that a mountain lake at 1,631 meters above sea level cannot provide bathing temperatures. That's why only the really hardy dare on hot days and perhaps after a long hike that calls for cooling off. For these daredevils, swimming is a very special natural adventure. You can stop off right next to it at the Obere Traualpe, or at the Landsberger Hütte, which is a 20-minute walk away.

Small walk across the reservoir to Schattwald
The small walk starts directly at the hotel and leads you in the direction of Vilstal - once in Vilstal, a romantic forest path leads towards the Schattwald reservoir and across the fields back towards the hotel. We will be happy to help you with any further questions.
Bike tour tip - Meraner Steig
On the well-maintained forest path, you can cycle comfortably from Nesselwängle via the Krinnenalpe to Rauth and finally on the circular hiking trail back to Nesselwängle to the valley station of the Krinnenalplift.
