The Gemeindealpe Mitterbach combines athletic challenges with breathtaking natural scenery. Across 15.5 kilometers of varied slopes, you’ll find runs for all skill levels—including Lower Austria’s steepest natural run, located right at the summit.

For an extra thrill, check out the speed run with speed measurement, the fun slope, and the snow park with rails, boxes, and kickers. At 1,626 meters, you’ll be treated to a sweeping 360-degree view of Lake Erlauf, the Mariazell region, and the surrounding mountains. With freeride terrain, marked ski touring routes, and winter hiking and cross-country skiing opportunities in the surrounding area, the Gemeindealpe offers a versatile winter experience for everyone who loves exercise, snow, and mountain panoramas.
