Description

When the macaw named Blu (voiced by Jesse Eisenberg) realizes he isn’t the last of his kind after all, the bars of his cage in a quiet Minnesota suburb can no longer hold him—off to “Rio”! What’s more, the other macaw is a female named Jewel (Anne Hathaway)—it couldn’t have worked out any better! It’s just too bad that Blu has become sluggish, lazy, and spoiled by his suburban life. Even though he’s the exact opposite of the free-spirited and lightning-fast Jewel, the two of them manage to get along after a few initial hiccups—and set off on the greatest adventure of their lives...
