Arrival

Arrival is usually from 16:00 possible, we try to hand over the accommodation early, but ask for your understanding if this is not always possible.

If you arrive after 17:00, please let us know in advance.

Departure

Please hand over the accommodation by 10.00 am at the latest.

Pay your final bill by 4.00 pm on the day before departure or by 10.00 am on the day of departure.

Please air the accommodation sufficiently.

Put all dishes in the kitchen cupboards, clean and dry - taking into account the running time of the dishwasher.

Out of respect for our cleaning team, please leave the apartment swept clean, dispose of the garbage, wipe the surfaces of the kitchen shelves and clean the oven and stove.

Please remove the bed linen.

You are welcome to leave the key in the accommodation unit from the inside or place it in the key box provided at the houses.

If the apartment is in an unacceptable condition, we reserve the right to charge you for the considerable extra work involved in cleaning.

Bathrobes

We are happy to lend you bathrobes - towel packages for the sauna at a price of 5€ per package.

Visit

We are a vacation farm and are happy to welcome guests seeking relaxation. As we receive an increased demand from day visitors, we ask you to contact us if you would like to have visitors. Coming and going should not become a matter of course, we like to know who is staying with us and it is important to us that the treatment of the animals and the farm customs are observed. Visitors pay €5 per person and stay.

Bed linen

Bed linen is provided for the number of people booked, additional sets are charged at €5.

Bicycle parking

Bicycles and bicycle racks can be stored in our bicycle shed.

Guest kitchen

Our guest kitchen is primarily available to our guests who have chosen the Rose Room as their sole booking option.

For €10 per day, the use of the guest kitchen can be booked by all parties subject to availability.

If the kitchen is not booked, you are welcome to use it as a common room to play games or work. If necessary, please coordinate with the users.

If you take dishes from the kitchen, please wash them immediately after use and put them back in the cupboards.

Please understand that the use of the kitchen is always associated with cleaning costs for us.

Dish towels

We provide two for each accommodation unit.

Drinks

We offer selected chilled soft drinks, beers and wines in our small sales room. This is accessible from the courtyard and is always open.

Lists are available, please enter your name and the bottles you have taken with a line. This is important, we check the stocks monthly!

Please do not throw money into the egg box, the box is for our locals who like to buy our eggs!

The settlement takes place collectively one day before departure until 16 o'clock or on the day of departure at 10.

GoCart and other children's vehicles

We are happy if the children have fun driving the GoCart, but for safety reasons we ask you to pay attention to the following:

Please make sure that no collisions and crashes are provoked.

Please do not drive on the road, the traffic is unpredictable and please leave the vehicles in the yard.

After the driving fun, the used vehicle must be parked back in the vehicle barn.

Basic equipment

You have hand soap, washing-up liquid, 3 starter dishwasher tabs, kitchen and toilet paper (initial equipment) as well as olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper and some spices at your disposal.

Towels

You will find one set of towels (face and body) per person in your accommodation.

The towels are for domestic use only - please do not take them to the swimming pond!

Please do not use them as towels for the sauna either - we will give you extra large sauna towels to protect the surfaces for a fee!

If you need additional or fresh towels, you will receive another towel package for €5.

Dogs

By prior arrangement, four-legged friends are welcome in the accommodation units for a price of €15 per night.

Dogs are not allowed in the beds or on the sofa.

Children's equipment

We are happy to provide you with a travel cot, a high chair and a safety cot. We can also provide a baby bathtub, a potty and a toilet seat in some cases.

Reading material and game collections

Magazines and many different books can be found on the shelf in the sauna hut.

Social games can be found in the small cupboard and in the buffet cupboard in the guest kitchen. Please put all games back in their entirety.

Lunch break, closing time and Sunday

We are almost always there for you, but we allow ourselves a lunch break from 12 to 14:00.

We usually try to close at 18:00. However, if you have an urgent request or an emergency, you can of course contact us.

Waste disposal

We ask you to separate the waste into the appropriate containers and dispose of it in the garbage cans or containers provided in the courtyard as follows:

Paper: blue container

Plastic waste (yellow dot): Container with yellow lid

Remaining waste: black container/ bin

Organic waste belongs in the green bin

We ask you to dispose of old glass in the containers provided at the recycling center in Wesselburen!

Parking

You can park free of charge in the yard and at the vacation homes.

We have an electric charging station on the farm. If you would like to make use of the charging station, please contact us.

Smoking

Please only smoke outside!

Smoking is not permitted in the accommodation, in the guest kitchen or in the sauna hut.

Riding and feeding animals

Please register for your riding requests in this app. You will receive confirmation of your riding time by 9 a.m. on the riding day.

On Wednesdays at 9 a.m.there is always a guided animal feeding session for our guest children!

Sundays and public holidays

On Sundays and public holidays we take time off and hope for your understanding. In an emergency, you can reach us on our mobile numbers 0170 3114878 (Katinka) or 0171 1485240 (York).

Sunshades and beach chairs

We may experience unannounced gusts of wind, so please note the following:

If you use our sunshades, please fold them up again immediately after sunbathing to protect them from gusts of wind and rain.

The beach chair at the accommodation as well as the baskets at the courtyard or at the swimming pond, we ask you to put them back in their original position after use.

Washing machine and dryer

The washing machine and dryer are available for the courtyard residents in our laundry room next to our guest kitchen.

You pay 3€ per wash or per drying cycle. We ask you to write your name on the board next to the machines and keep a tally. You will be billed at the end of your vacation.

Washing machines and some dryers are located in the houses. Washing is included in the total price.

Wellness in the sauna hut and use of the hot tub

The sauna and hot tub can only be used by a family if booked in advance. You get a sauna/hot tub time of 3 hours. Please register with us in good time (preferably in the morning) via our Giggle app.

We will then set up the sauna for you at your desired time.

You will receive a towel and bathrobe from us for a price of €5.

Take enough time to prepare for the hot tub (approx. 3 hours) so that you can then relax in the warm water. You can get wood for the hot tub heater directly from the boxes in front of our wood chip heating system using a wheelbarrow. You will find instructions on how to use the hot tub above the wooden box next to the hot tub heater.

Wellness oasis

In the basement of the main building, you can access our wellness oasis through the guest kitchen or from the sales room. It offers various shower facilities, a hot water area with a rain shower and a cold area with a waterfall after a sauna session. Please do not lock the bathroom door from the inside for your entire sauna time. Please only for your shower and changing time, otherwise the rose room users have no chance to use the bathroom if it is blocked from the inside for 3 hours.

The outdoor shower, which is located directly next to the sauna hut, has hot and cold water connections and is wonderful to use.

Campers pay €20 for the sauna/hot tub visit.

You receive free WLAN with us.

The WLAN at the camping pitches and at the swimming pond is password-free!

Weekly program

We usually offer a guided tour of the farm once a week with a field tour and an animal feeding session.

Depending on the weather and season, we also like to spend a sociable evening with our guests, which we announce in the Giggle app.

Please also pay attention to our announcements on the black board in front of the sales room and on the board to the straw barn for planned activities.

Payment methods

Cash payment and payment by EC card are possible.

The outstanding rent is usually to be paid in advance by bank transfer.
