Poetry meets singer-songwriting

"What if the whole of life was just a game...?"

The author Petra Königsmann lives in Erlangen. From June 2002 to

December 2025, she ran "Königsmanns Kaffeerösterei" in the center of Erlangen.

In addition to her passion for coffee, there was always another one: writing poems

In early 2022, she submitted her texts to a publisher who was her first

choice and he immediately "bit".

Her dream came true!

In June 2022, her first volume of poetry "Curtain up, the game

begins!" was published by Paramon Verlag, Berlin.

Since her first reading, she has performed on stage with the acoustic duo

"Mittensturm" (Hilde Körner & Mario Schindler). They

accompany her musically on her journey with their songs, compositions

and poems set to music. Their music underlines and deepens the poetry

of the language. The content of the songs is matched to the content of the poems

and so the two interweave on stage to form a tangible

unit with a magic all of its own.

The author's touching poems and prose texts are straight out of

life. Her poems are at times playfully light, humorous, but also

profound and abysmal. She lets her audience dive deep into her emotional,

thought and love worlds and thus manages to create a tingling

atmosphere that can often be remembered in one's own life and being
