In our two-hour natural pharmacy workshop, we’ll explore the effects and uses of selected local plants and foods. Together, we’ll make natural home remedies and handy everyday items using tried-and-true recipes, some of which are centuries old.

It’s not just about listening, but above all about smelling, feeling, trying things out, and making them yourself. Depending on the season, number of participants, and interests, we’ll create various goodies in jars that you can take home afterward.

Possible creations include, for example:

- Natural “antibiotic” made from nasturtium

- Thyme or ribwort plantain cough syrup

- Immune-boosting vinegar or daisy vinegar

- Herbal teas such as sleep tea or lady’s mantle tea

- Smudge bundles made from local herbs

- Lavender room fragrance

- Homemade herbal salt
